David is still in a very critical state. He’s been all over the place and has been hard to control. At this moment, he has 2 dedicated nurses, and a third nurse helping out. The doctor was honest and said she didn’t like how he looked this morning but is hopeful he will look better before she goes home this evening. David is very swollen, his chest is open, he’s intubated and heavily sedated. As much as we were prepared to see it, it’s very difficult.

They will try to get him stable today. The last hour he’s starting to be more stable, but he’s been a rollercoaster all night, no clue how long that will last. He could still very quickly take a turn for the worst, but they are prepared. He’s at risk for cardiac arrest. They will place head monitoring equipment to monitor for seizures and brain bleeds. Prayers much appreciated.
