Well, we have a delivery date – October 30th. Adam and I are still processing what this means, and feeling all the emotions that come with that date. I’m relieved that it got moved up from November 6th, since I was concerned about making it that far as Eli and Anna were both born before hitting that gestational date. I’m also sad since I will miss out on taking the kids trick or treating. I had really hoped to deliver on November 1st, but when there are several teams needing to be involved in the delivery, we know it’s hard to coordinate. So, October 30th is it, at 7:30 AM. We’re still trying to figure out all the details on how we want to handle that day and Halloween. I’m also hopeful that as we enter flu and cold season, that there will be no age restrictions on visitors at that time so that Eli and Anna can meet their baby brother.

I had another ultrasound today and brought Eli with so he could see his baby brother on the tv. He thought it was funny when David was covering his face with his hand, and playing with his toes. Well, Eli thinks he was eating his toes, which is of course absolutely hilarious to an almost 4 year old. There was not much change otherwise, although they did notice a cyst on his adrenal gland. It’s not a big deal, they are just going to note it, and sometime after delivery, when his heart has been handled and he’s recovering, they will likely do an abdominal ultrasound just to check on it again.
