I am not sure how to start this or what all to say but I wanted to make sure we let everyone who has followed David's amazing life know everything. He had a CT yesterday which more or less confirmed what the neurologist thought. Large damage and the part of our brain that makes us … Continue reading June 18, 2024

I'm running on an hour and a half of sleep so hopefully this is coherent. Well, I started this post, and I think Adam is going to take it over, so hopefully he can help fill in the details. Today had a somber tone that followed it around all day. This is absolutely not where … Continue reading June 14, 2024

They will be observing him closely over the next 24 hours to see if there are any effects from the low oxygen. Also these next … Continue reading February 14, 2024 – Update 5
February 14, 2024 – Update 4
We just spoke Dr. Sinha (the surgeon) and got an update on all the happenings today. David is ok, but he's not perfect. He wants David to be perfect before they send him to the ICU. First they have completed the Norwood procedure. They decided to go with the Sano shunt instead of the BTT … Continue reading February 14, 2024 – Update 4

Jessica is in the recovery room soon to be moved to her final room. David has made it through the first procedure putting the Stent between the heart chambers and is stable. They will lower the oxygen they give him and see how he responds before later proceeding with potentially putting in flow restrictiors slowing … Continue reading November 1, 2023
