Quick Update: In short, David’s procedure today was successful. He’s currently sedated and resting in the CVICU. They should start waking him up soon and then starting up his meds and resuming his feeds. He’s going to receive a blood transfusion since his hemoglobin is low, but otherwise, they said he looks good and he’s not really requiring ICU care. It’s just standard procedure for the HLHS kids to go there post-op. I’ll provide more details later.
